My NLA Landlord

The National Landlords Association is the leading membership association for private residential landlords in the UK.

It is a not-for-profit organisation that primarily seeks to ensure that landlords are aware of their statutory rights and responsibilities. At the same time the NLA aims to strike a fair balance of the interests between landlords and tenants. The NLA recognises that the property in our members’ portfolios is not solely an investment vehicle, it also represents a longterm commitment to provide homes for people disinclined or unable, to buy their own home.

Through its relationships with government and policy-makers, and providing a range of benefits and services to individual landlords, the NLA seeks to continue to improve standards in rental accommodation.
info See the NLA Code of Practice for more information about our standards that our landlords are expected to observe in connection with the letting of their residential properties.
